Your Bra Holds All Of You In

Your Bra Holds All Of You In Four Narrow Places.

That is the whole problem — and it is not your body, it is the design. The Sculpt Tank spreads the same weight across your shoulders, ribs, sides and waist. Nothing narrow. Nothing to dig in. Nothing to unhook at five o'clock.

Real built-in bra — no wire, no hooks, no back closure
Goes on in one motion, over your head or stepped into

THE FOUR-POINT PROBLEM

Pick up any bra you own and look at what is actually carrying the weight.

Two shoulder straps. One band that pulls tightest at your sides. Four narrow strips of fabric, each about an inch wide. That is the entire structure — and every ounce of hold your body needs is concentrated into those four places.

A TRADITIONAL BRA
Diagram: a traditional bra on a plain torso outline Two shoulder straps and one band. Four small hot markers, numbered one to four, sit at the two shoulders and the two sides, where the load is concentrated. 1 2 3 4

All the weight. Four narrow points.

Two shoulders and two sides take the entire load. That is exactly where the grooves, the red lines and the digging show up — because that is where all of it is going.

THE SUMMET SCULPT TANK
Diagram: the Sculpt Tank on the same torso outline No straps and no band. The same load is shown as a soft, wide wash spread evenly across the shoulders, ribs, sides and waist, all the way past the hip.

The same weight. Spread across all of you.

Shoulders, ribs, sides and waist share the load across hundreds of square inches instead of four narrow inches. No single point carries it, so no single point has anything to dig into.

Four points, about an inch wide each — versus the whole torso.

Same weight. Nowhere for it to concentrate. Nothing to unhook at five o'clock, because nothing has been digging in since nine.

Why Nothing You Have Tried Has Worked

Look at the usual fixes through that lens.

  • Go up a band size.

Looser band, less digging — for about a week.

    STILL FOUR POINTS
  • Buy a soft bralette.

Comfortable for three hours, then everything has flattened.

    STILL FOUR POINTS
  • Buy a more expensive bra.

Better fabric, nicer finishing, a fitter who knows her trade.

    STILL FOUR POINTS
  • Give up on bras entirely.

Genuinely comfortable — until the doorbell rings.

    NO SUPPORT AT ALL

Every one of those changes the materials. Not one of them changes the architecture.

AN HONEST WARNING

Most built-in bra tanks are bad. We would rather you heard it from us.

The shops are full of them at eight or ten dollars, and most of them are useless — a single thin layer of jersey sewn across the chest, a "shelf bra" in name only. Women buy one, discover they still need a bra underneath it, and reasonably conclude the whole idea does not work. The idea works. Thin fabric does not. Spreading a load requires structure to spread it with. Three things separate a real one from a ten-dollar one:

  1. A genuine double layer

Two full layers of fabric through the bust — not a strip of lining sewn across the front. This is the part that actually holds.

  2. Padding that is sewn in

Partially secured to the garment, so it cannot rotate, bunch at the edges, or come out in the wash and vanish.

  3. Length, and side anchoring

Cut past the hip, with the support anchored at the sides rather than crossing the back — which is what stops the hem rolling up when you walk.

The Sculpt Tank was built around those three. 66% polyamide, 34% elastane, four-way stretch, no wire, no hooks, no back closure of any kind.

COPYCAT ALERT

There are copies of this tank. This is the one they copied.

We made the Sculpt Tank — our own pattern, our own factory, our own fabric spec. It worked, so it got cloned. The copies use our photos and a cheap generic tank they have never tested.

Four-way stretch knit — measurements are the body range each size is cut to fit, not the garment laid flat.

Completely true to size — we recently invested heavily in our quality and redid all our sizing to the standard measurements. Order the size you normally wear.

The Questions Everyone Asks First

Will it really support me? +

For most women through a normal day — errands, church, sitting with the grandchildren, a long afternoon out — yes. The support is spread rather than concentrated, which is why it does not announce itself the way a band does. A fair caveat, because you deserve one: if you are fuller busted and heading out to garden hard for four hours, treat this as a comfortable everyday support layer, not a replacement for a purpose-built high-support bra. It is honest about what it is.

Will it roll up when I walk? +

It is cut past the hip and tucks in. The support is anchored at the sides instead of crossing the back, which is the part that usually causes the roll on shorter camisoles.

Will it be too tight? I cannot stand feeling squeezed. +

Spreading a load is the opposite of squeezing one. There is no band, no wire and no hook — the entire point of the construction is that no single part of it grips. The knit has four-way stretch, so it moves when you move rather than holding a fixed shape against you.

Will it show under a white blouse? +

No straps cross the back, so there are no lines and no clasp bumps to press through. The double layer through the bust is what prevents show-through.

Can I get it on by myself? +

Yes. Over the head, or stepped into from the floor — whichever is easier on your shoulders that morning. There is nothing to fasten and nothing to reach behind you for.

I am a DDD, F or G. Will it fit me? +

Yes. It is not sized by cup letter. You measure the fullest part of your bust, keep the tape level, and read the number — or use the size finder on this page, which takes your bra size and gives you the tank size. Sizes run XS through 6XL and cover a 30 to 56 inch bust.

What size should I order? +

No — it is true to size, and that is new. We re-cut the pattern and re-graded every size from XS to 6XL, so you order the size you normally wear. If we still get it wrong, we ship the right size free and you keep the first one.

Will the padding survive the wash? +

It is partially sewn in rather than dropped into an open pocket, so it cannot shift out of position or disappear into the machine. Wash cold, tumble dry low or hang to dry. Skip the fabric softener — it coats the stretch fibres. Nothing else special.

Can I wear it on its own, or only under something? +

Both. Most women wear it on its own at home and out on errands, then layer it under a cardigan, a blouse or a jacket. It is full coverage either way, and there is no bra underneath it.

What is it actually made of? +

A 66% polyamide, 34% elastane knit with four-way stretch. Two full layers through the bust — which is the part that does the holding — no wire, no hooks and no back closure of any kind.

How long does shipping take? +

Free shipping on every order. We process and ship in 1 to 2 business days, then it reaches you in 5 to 7. Tracking arrives by email the moment it leaves us.

What if I change my mind? +

You have thirty days from delivery. Wear it. Wear it through a whole day — that is the only way to know whether a built-in bra actually holds you. If it does not, email hello@getsummet.com and we refund every penny. Someone answers, and it is a person, not a bot.

Your bras did not stop working because something went wrong with you.

They stopped working because they hold all of you in the same four narrow places they always did. Spread the weight instead of concentrating it, and the countdown to five o'clock simply stops.

  • Nothing to unhook the second you walk through the door
  • Nothing to hitch back up in the middle of a conversation
  • Nothing printing through the back of your blouse

XS through 6XL, in nine colours. Most women order a second once they know the size works — so right now the second one is on the house.
